Two luxury Citroëns make their public debut at Drive '09 powered by the most powerful engine ever offered by the company, a new 3.0HDi V6 240hp diesel engine.
This new engine, which replaces the 2.7HDi V6 208hp previously used in C5 and C6 cars, has third generation HDi direct, common rail injection technology, twin variable geometry turbochargers, new combustion chamber design, exhaust gas recirculation and an energy recovery system.
The new 3.0HDi V6 240hp engine is available in C6 Exclusive Saloons and C5 Exclusive Saloons and Tourers, where it has 195g/km CO2 emissions and returns 38.2mpg on the combined cycle.
