The IOPDC was formed to support and provide representation for the chauffeur industry in the UK. Its commitment to its members is to improve the professionalism of the services they provide to their customers, to assist them with their interactions with their customers, regulatory bodies and government agencies and to support the flow of information from professional drivers, car manufacturers and regulatory bodies
It is also committed to supporting standards in the recruitment and training of professional drivers and chauffeurs, guiding decisions being made at a local, regional, national, and EU level which may affect professional drivers and chauffeurs.
BMW UK
As well as pushing home the benefits of its new chauffeur programme, BMW will be displaying the exciting 5-Series Gran Torismo concept car which is said to have more legroom then a 7-series.
The luxury manufacturer will also have a range of the new 7-series vehicles available on the Drive'09 test track for visitors to experience.
Jaguar Cars UK
At the Jaguar stand, all eyes will be on the stunning all new Jaguar XJ, which made its global debut in July 2009.
With its aluminium body architecture and fuel-efficient engines the all-new XJ combines sublime levels of power and luxury with low CO2 emission levels, an important consideration for today’s environment-conscious market.
Jaguar will also be offering its guests some hot laps in the 510bhp Jaguar XFR, the award-winning performance saloon that is capable of 0-60mph in just 4.7 seconds.
It should prove an exhilarating experience: a barely-modified XFR recently set a new Jaguar land speed record at 225.67mph.

German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz will be unveiling two brand new vehicles to the chauffeuring market. The all-new E-Class has already received fantastic reviews, and will be available to drive at the event. Visitors can also experience the 'pre-safe' system on the Ultimate Car Control stand.
Also, one of the first facelift S-Class vehicles in the country will also be on display.
Licensed Private Hire Car Association
The Licensed Private Hire Car Association is a trade association representing Private Hire Vehicle Operators. It started life representing Private Hire Operators only in London. It now however independently visits hundreds of Minicab, Chauffeur and Executive Car Companies including some Taxi Operators in more and more parts of the UK Member Companies are Graded up to 5 Star, with a series of 'status indicators' for companies able to demonstrate special services like Chauffeur, Executive or Disabled Vehicle provision.
The LPHCA also seeks to promote and encourage high levels of service, safety and standards to provide the travelling public with a safe and reliable service in 'door to door' Transport. It does this by working closely with operators, politicians, regulators and consumer / safety groups such as The Suzy Lamplugh Trust.
